Death Dates

Author’s Blurb:

This love triangle is killer. Literally.

At the center is Skyler, a hopeless romantic with a knack for attracting the afterlife. However, nothing haunts Skyler more than the unrequited crush she has on her longtime friend, Caleb. She spends every summer at his family’s eerie lake house and is determined this is the year she finally gets over him. And if he stopped smiling at her like that, she might actually succeed.

When Skyler meets a new houseguest, Mateo, she realizes getting over her crush might not be so challenging after all, especially because he seems to understand her draw to the dead like no other. But as tempting as it may be, fraternizing with Caleb’s friend would be a bad idea, right?

Torn between the two boys, Skyler begins to receive ominous love notes and gruesome tokens of affection. Her mysterious secret admirer’s message is clear: pick wisely. But as Skyler desperately digs up the admirer’s identity, she realizes a far more sinister plot is afoot. If she wants to survive the summer, she better hope her heart doesn’t lead her straight into a horror story.

3 Reasons WE Think You Should Read This Book:

  1. What do you mean she has a knack for attracting the afterlife? Does she talk to ghosts? Does she just see them? I don’t know, but I’m already invested, and we are one sentence in.

  2. This sounds like a classic teenage love triangle where the boy doesn’t care about the girl until she is interested in someone else. Honestly, it’s so true to the condition of young love, and I am here for it.

  3. Someone starts leaving her creepy love tokens and I want to know about it. Are these thinly veiled threats? OR is our new love interest a ghost? I feel like there is so much room to explore with this creepy YA romance!
